Hoax Emails and Urban Legends

It seems like every day, we are receiving hoax emails EVERY day. These stories are grossly even though they have a ring or bit of truth. Email stories  should ALWAYS be checked  to test their validity. In fact, these days, you can also ALWAYS assume that these kind of stories are FALSE until proven otherwise. Even messages that say that the story has been checked with snopes.com are usually false.

We know how much it gets one's blood boiling to receive these kind of stories, and they are designed to get us upset and forward the story to others, but we simply perpetuate the wrong when we send it on without verification.

If you have a Post-It Note handy, you might want to post these two site somewhere near your computer so you can refer to them.
