AOL Ads

Look for a subject line reading, "OFFICIAL NOTICE OF PENDENCY OF CLASS ACTION AND PROPOSED SETTLEMENT." If You Are Currently an AOL Member Your Rights May Be Affected by a Proposed Class Action Settlement.

It appears that we can, finally, turn off those annoying ads that AOL sticks on the bottom of our emails.

Log in to AOL the go to http://footer.aol.com. Uncheck the box and save your changes.

The down side is that you have to repeat the process for every AOL screen name you have. There is no default setting to turn off all the ads at once.
