BlackBerry releases Desktop Software for Mac

For the non-iPhone toting Mac owners that keep their mobile life on their BlackBerrys, the official BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac has just become available for download. The software promises to help you "quickly and effortlessly sync your BlackBerry smartphone with your Mac computer, so you can do more of what you love on your BlackBerry smartphone."

The software features iTunes synchronization using BlackBerry Media Sync, contact and calendar sync, and a system to easily backup, restore, add, and remove your BlackBerry Apps. The software is available as a free download from blackberry.com at http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/desktop_mac.jsp
