MacSTAC October 20 Monthly Meeting, 6:30 pm, Vestal Library

Come join us for our monthly meeting, with information for all about Apple and its products, and answers to your questions.

On a very sad note, please note that one of our own, Dennis James Gazda passed today. He was a super guy, a friend, and a great cake and cookie baker and a source of a wealth of Mac information. We're going to miss him a lot. Here is the note I received today from his bother Tom:

This note is one of the hardest notes to write I have ever written. This afternoon at about 3:30 the kid at heart, the devoted husband, the brother and my guiding light never made it to his next BMW delivery.  He never made it to the car to be delivered. He was feeling good and headed off to work for another routine day.  Parked his car in the employee parking lot and started his last walk up the hill to the shop at Gault BMW.  When he got to the service bay he asked for an ambulance to be called because he was having a heart attack.  A brisk ride to the hospital and many doctors later Karen and I were told that there was nothing more they could do for him, and he would not make it to the operating room.  Dennis James Gazda had driven his last BMW on earth and has now been moved to another world to drive for someone else. NO final arraignments have been made yet.
