MacSTAC March Meeting - this Thursday, 6:30 pm, Vestal Library

Our meeting this Thursday will be different and hopefully interesting to you. We have invited Joan Sprague, from Broome County Office for Aging to talk about Downsizing, De-cluttering, and Reorganizing.

She has wonderful thought-provoking ideas on how we can  'clear the clutter' from either our house or a loved one's house. It can be a huge task. There is no easy fix but there is support and satisfaction in knowing that everyone has more 'stuff' than they need.

Attend this presentation for tips and ideas to get you started on the path to a de-cluttered home.

Joan Sprague conducts a monthly discussion about Downsizing and Decluttering.  Her program is designed to encourage people to think about their relationship to their possessions.  She'll offer some suggestions to start the process of downsizing.  It took decades to accumulate the stuff so don't expect to make progress after one discussion!

Of course we'll also take your questions or suggestions on how to handle a problem with your Mac, and talk a bit about what's new from Apple.

Hope to see you there.

Weather at this time of year is always a question this time of year, especially with the storm coming tonight and tomorrow. The forecast for Thursday is:

ThursdayA chance of snow showers before 9am. Partly sunny, with a high near 25. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12.

So we should be alright. If we have to cancel, check your email around noon on Thursday.

Regards,

Ben
