MacSTAC November Meeting - TOMORROW EVENING (possible cancellation)

The weather looks pretty bad for tomorrow, with some forecasts of up to 9 inches total. Here is the latest from http://www.emergencyemail.org/wx/us/NY/Broome-County.asp

ThursdaySnow, mainly after noon. High near 27. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.

Thursday Night: Snowfreezing rain, and sleet before 2am, then snow and sleet between 2am and 3am, then snow after 3am. Low around 27. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of around 3 inches.

I will keep track on this tomorrow, and send out an email by 3 pm as we may have to cancel the November meeting. I talked to the Librarian and she thinks they won't make a closure decision until around 3.  So look for my email.
