Are you one of the vast majority out there who prefer Safari for your
Web browsing? If so, you’re probably aware of the existence of plug-
ins that can extend Safari’s feature set. There are lots of these
out there, even though they’re not officially supported by Apple.
You can, for instance, use PithHelmet ($10) to block ads, install
Sogudi (free, donations accepted) to enhance Safari’s web search
features, or install Saft ($12), which will let Safari do just about
everything other than make your morning coffee. (Macworld looked at
all three of these plug-ins in the November 2005 article, “The
Secrets of Safari.”)
Into this somewhat-crowded mix steps the free SafariStand 2.0 ().
As does Saft, SafariStand adds a ton of new features to Safari.
