The Macintosh Users Group (MacSTAC) invites you to its’ monthly member meeting on April 20th (Thursday), 6:30 PM at the Vestal Library (large meeting room).
Our meeting begins with Questions and Answers and then will transition to our featured presentation. George Conner, owner of Tall Pines Farm-Stoves and Fireplace in Montrose, PA, will show how his business uses POS-IM, a powerful Apple OSX based software tool to track inventory, track customers, and manage buying decisions. POS-IM (Point-of-Sale and Inventory Management software program) is produced by Ensigns Systems. http://www.posim.com/.
Following POS-IM, we will be demonstrating Skype, a little program for making free calls over the internet to anyone else who also has Skype. It’s free and easy to download and use, and works with most computers.
We will conclude with a brief introduction to the latest and greatest virus protection application for OSX.
Of course there will be raffles and time for cookies and soft drinks. Hope you can make it.
MacSTAC was founded on April 1, 1978 as an Apple II MUG. We are a community group with members from all walks of life, careers and levels of ability. We welcome all Mac users to improve their knowledge and, in turn, share their Mac knowledge with others. http://macstac.org
