Problem Viewing Videos on Your Mac

Some people have difficulty viewing videos on their Mac. If you are having such a problem, here is a potential solution:

1. Safari will not load popup videos unless you have checked the ENABLE PLUG-INS box under Safari PREFERENCE SECURITY TAB.

2. Most videos use the Adobe Flash Player (formerly called Macromedia Flash Player) to enable you to play the video. You probably have an old version of the player.
This site will tell you the version you have installed.

There will be a window called "Version Information". If your version is NOT 9,0,16,0 - then go to this site below and using Option 2, download and then install the player.

3. Especially is you do not have a recent Mac,your computer needs a lot of RAM to run the video. If you have a bunch of other programs open, you should close them first before viewing the video. You can look on your Dock and if an icon have a little black triangle under it, that means it's open. Simple press the CONTROL key on your keyboard while pressing and holding the mouse button on the icon and a popup menu will enable you to QUIT the program.
