Microsoft Office v.X 10.1.8 released

Microsoft has released Office v.X for Mac OS X, bringing several security refinements and feature enhancements to the older, but still supported version of its popular productivity suite.

Like Office 2004 11.3, Office v.X 10.1.8contains several updates to enhance security and stability, including fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code. In addition, this update includes all of the improvements released in all previous Office v. X updates.

The new release is available as a 40 MB download in various languages.
